We have an unconfirmed tip from a reliable source that Papa Ibrahim will not be held for bond by the Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Our source indicates that Salaheddin Ibrahim will soon be free.
The Dallas Morning News confirms there was some fear that the government would contest the bond release, but the family has raised the money and release appears imminent.
Note: our tip about imminent release was made at a time of day before it was apparently discovered that paperwork to accompany the bond money would not be completed by close of business, which sources now say was 3pm, not 5pm.
